Garden State Christmas Party Meet

Hightstown, New Jersey

The party will be held again this year RAIN, SLEET, BLIZZARD, OR SNOW, at “The Tavern on the Lake”, 101 South Main Street, Hightstown at 11:30 AM. We'll again have use of the upstairs spacious private hall of this great restaurant located in the geographic center of New Jersey. We'll "party on” until around 2:30 PM or so. The cost (heavily subsidized by the chapter) is only $10.00 per dues-paid person and their guests. Others will need to pay the full fee of $16.95 plus taxes. This should be a great gathering, with some other surprises too. This surely is a great incentive for getting up to date on annual $15 chapter dues Each person attending is asked to bring a wrapped gift worth no more than $20 for our annual “Pollyanna”. Our gift exchange rules have been such a hit that we’ve decided to repeat the process again for the thirteenth consecutive year. We have made a commitment for a minimum of 30 people. This restaurant is spectacularly accessible from the New Jersey Turnpike, Exit 8, and is less than a mile from the interchange. We will have a 50-50 drawing to give some lucky Garden Stater a little extra Christmas money.

If you plan to attend, please call our meet coordinator, Ted Steinmetz, NO LATER THAN MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27, any time with your information. Tell him if you will be attending on Sunday, December 3. We’ve promised the Tavern on the Lake folks that we would have the final “headcount” by that date. Phone (856) 983-4319 (home), (856) 816-7438 (cell) or email
